Important Note: If you are using Yahoo, Hotmail, or similar services, check your bulk mail folder and make sure that messages received from Kritikon mailing lists are accepted to your "in box" or other folders. Read the help screens of the service for more details. You cannot post messages to particular forums until you subscribe. If a forum moderates subscriptions, then there will be a slight delay before your subscription request is fulfilled. All mailing lists are moderated, which means you should not receive any junk mail or computer viruses. There will be a slight delay, of course, before your message is posted. E-mail addresses of all list members are concealed by the mailing list software. That means "harvesters" will not be able to steal e-mail addresses and sell them to bulk mail senders. Click on the forum links below to visit the log-in page of that mailing list. You may register or change your subscription settings from that page. All mailing lists are moderated in order to avoid junk mail, "harvesters" (systems which collect e-mail addresses for bulk mail senders), and computer viruses. That means membership to forums and posts to all lists will have to be approved by the moderator. The moderator receives requests in batches only after a day or two. That means you will have to wait until your membership or message is approved. Meanwhile, try not to post the same message several times, and make sure that your e-mail system will not filter any message that comes from this website. If you subscribe and receive no confirmation after two days, check the bulk mail folder of your account. Set the filter to accept all e-mail from this website and the mailing list. If you want your e-mail address to be approved right away, write to the webmaster by visiting the feedback page. Newsletter: This is a low-volume (at most one message a week) announcement list. You should receive an HTML newsletter announcing changes to the web site and local events. If you want to send an announcement, please write to the webmaster by visiting the feedback page. Visit this page for details. Discussion Mailing List: The volume for this list is on average one or two messages weekly. All messages are moderated in order to avoid junk e-mail or computer viruses. Visit this page for details. Reading Group: We have a reading group for poetry and drama classes. Feel free to join us by visiting this page. Writing: We have a reading group for writing students, where mostly non-fictional works are discussed. Class News: This is an announcement list for students.
